It doesn't take much

Yesterday I went to the bank with a spring in my step to deposit a small refund from the tax man.
It wasn't going to be a massive windfall, but a refund from the tax man is a refund and better than a letter asking for more.

I was pleased to note that the staff at the bank were equally happy , not because of my refund but because an older lady whose finances they had helped to straighten out the week before, had handed them cakes and juice as a thank you.

In the present climate I am sure the banks don't often get thank you's from the public so they were very touched and happy to tell anyone who was listening.

And in that small way joy began to spread around. It doesn't take much does it?
