Gently Trusting

As the authorities race around Jesus and the crowds shout for his blood, Jesus alone seems to be still. Graham Tomlin writes in Reflections for Lent "The presence of Jesus, even when he is silent, facing death, yet secure in the hands of his Father, speaks more eloquently than any number of fear filled voices."

I was reminded of Macy my dog, quietly sure that she will be given what she needs, while we rush around noisily trying to make things happen.  Today I am reminded that Jesus is Lord, that he will provide, and that I can rest securely in his hands.

"He plied him with many questions but Jesus gave no answer" Luke 23 vs 9
