When I left to go on holiday, my garden like many others, was a dried up desert and I had really given up on it for this year. We are now back and yesterday I started to clear up a little and found the most lovely surprise.
Earlier in the year, I had planted some cyclamens in a small corner and while in the heat they had disappeared, given a spot of rain, there they were, against all the odds, in full bloom. Sometimes we can give up too easily and God may have other ideas. It isn't a world-shattering, life-changing moment but for me just a small reminder that God can do so much more than we can possibly imagine.
"Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything" Ephesians 5 vs 19-20
