Yesterday I visited the Madonnas and miracles exhibition in Cambridge and I was particularly taken with one renaissance drawing which had the holy family set in a busy landscape to show that Christ was at the heart of everyday life .
A few minutes later I was sitting having s sandwich in the grounds of St Mary's the great surrounded by children and shoppers and workers all enjoying lunch among the gravestones in the shadow of the church right beside the busy shopping street . What better way reminder of Jesus in among it all at the heart of our everyday .
