One of the great pleasures of the midterm break for me has been the chance to walk Macy without a mad rush to get to school and so to take in the beauty of the hedgerow. The Psalmist wrote about creation as follows:
"The heavens declare the glory of God" Psalm 19 vs 1
and this week it has been easy to believe, for creation to exist and to be so beautiful is surely a gift from God designed to bring us joy.
Next week temperatures are set to fall and the new term starts so it will be back to a quick dash out and in at either end of the day - but I will try to carry the images with me and keep things in perspective, for if God created such beauty just as a source of joy and praise, he must love us very much.
