Today I had a call from the garage to say my poor window that won't shut was not reparable by them and would need to go to a specialist dealer. This sounds expensive so, feeling a bit fed up, I went to pick the car up tonight only to find they had a second try and managed to do the repair. It was like getting an unexpected present; even better than having it repaired the first time.
On a roll I came home and plugged in the iron. I should say the iron exploded on earlier last week and things are getting desperate we don't have any wrinkle free clothing and I have quite an important meeting tomorrow that I want to make a good impression at. So it was a long shot - and would you believe it , it worked.
I'm wondering what to try next while the going is good.
It is lovely to receive more than you could ever expect.
