Hidden Treasure

This morning it was an absolute delight to walk the dog in the deep frost .

The trees stood stark against the bright sky and the fields looked lovely stretching white as far as I could see. As I waited on the dog sniffing around and really looked at the hedgerow  I was amazed to see that what had looked dormant and lifeless from a distance actually had pockets of bright new leaves bursting out.

I like to think that when all appears lost to us, God gives new life in abundance.

Thats an uplifting thought in this, the darkest depth of winter.

Happy New Year to everyone  when it comes.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15 vs 5
